The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, on Monday flagged off free feeding in the state primary schools in what the governor described as a fulfillment of his pledge to provide free education to pupils in Kaduna state.
Meanwhile Social crusaders and activists from Kaduna, have released pictures to condemn the School feeding initiative maintaining the the program was unnecessary and a charade especially given the state of infrastructure decay in the school which should have been first addressed.
According to a commenter, he said that government of Kaduna should have ’empowered their parents and use the food money to equip the class.’
Another activist Zina Dabo said on twitter; “Seriously @elrufai do you think what these kids need is propaganda slice of yam not chairs? @shehusani @NGRWailers“’
