Wizkid mocks Linda Ikeji, endorses article that says the blogger suffers ‘poverty mentality

A new beef between blogger Linda Ikeji and singer Wizkid is already loading.Yesterday, the ‘Ojuelegba” singer shared on his Twitter page an article that accused the blogger of ‘poverty mentality’. As if that wasn’t enough, Wizkid proceeded to his Snapchat to endorse the article and mock the blogger.

The short piece was written by a Lagos lawyer who made references to Ms Ikeji’s penchant for showing off her personal belongings (especially the recent Hermes Birkin bags drama), and then drew conclusions that she showed signs of poverty mentality syndrome.
Wizkid circled the most offensive part of the essay, shares on Snapchat with his hundreds of followers, and captioned it with a laughing emoji. “In too deep,” he laughed.

 

It is unclear why Wizkid is trolling Ms Ikeji because the duo have never engaged in social media beef.
